The Banks
The Banks
SOON TO BE A MAJOR TV SHOW!
New York Times-bestselling writer Roxane Gay (Bad Feminist, Black Panther: World of Wakanda) and artist Ming Doyle (The Kitchen) perfectly execute a story of revenge - and justice.
Steal smart. Right a wrong.
Chicago. Southside. For fifty years the women of the Banks family have been the most successful thieves in the city by following one simple rule: Get in. Get away. Get paid. Never get greedy.
But when the youngest Banks, who has long turned her back on her family, stumbles upon the heist of a lifetime, the potential windfall may be enough to bring three generations of thieves together for one incredible score and the chance to avenge a loved one taken too soon.

This book has not been read yet but I love that there was even an option for books on here. This book also sounds interesting. The book is in great condition! I hope they add more!
There was only one moment I didn't like but that was just a personal thing, towards the end, in regards to how one character specifically had a change of heart. I felt it happened too suddenly, with very little external pressure, but otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed the read and could even see myself reading it again!
I got this for my 12 year old but read it prior so I could review it. The illustrations are fun and welcome in the novel. This book is fast paced so it really pulls you towards the end and is hard to put down. Despite the fast pacing it doesn't lack world or character building so it doesn't feel too shallow. The book is really well written and a fun addition to the library.
